| No matter how old Zanna is
she’ll always be the baby of the family with her
cute looks and sense of humor. Zanna is out of
Tieka’s first litter. This was my first bred litter
and these puppies were the reason for the beginning of an
addiction to breed every now and again Zanna is a very soft natured girl needing a very soft hand but never the less a consequent one. She is eager to please and very responsive….. with one bad habit. If she isn’t kept busy on walks she will occasionally go and "hunt" in the woods. After +/- 10 minutes she comes back and you can see she enjoyed herself immensely. Her tong nearly dragging over the ground she will try to find a puddle, it often seems preferably to be a very muddy one, and flop down in it to cool off. Having a brown dog has its advantages..... |

Zanna is my “cuddle
dog” and during walks (if she is clean enough) I
“demand” she jumps in my arms to be squeeze,
kissed and cuddled. She glows with pleaser when I put her
down and her tale and her cute little bottom wag even
more as she runs away pretending she found the whole
ordeal really awful. |
| She
has the most sparkling eyes. Eyes not only to die for,
but also to soften you up and make you give in much too
easily. She is excellent at taking advantage of this
fact. I must admit I tend to
spoil her the most, but this is manly because she is such
a humble little girl that is never pushy. She benefits
from extra complements and a helping hand. After getting her obedience diplomas I did a few years of agility with Zanna. She started very promising but after a totally unexpected attack by a mentally sick German shepherd she never totally relax again and had difficulty giving it her all after that. We started fly-ball and this made her blossom again. She carried on with this till she expected her second litter. She will never be the fastest as she runs completely for the fun, unlike her mother, Tieka, who is a fanatic when it comes to tennis balls. Zanna thinks they are fun but can take then or leave them. We have now started doggy-dancing. Zanna really enjoys this extra special close contact. Its amazing what Zanna will do for food :-) |
